Wilcon Depot extends assistance to the provinces affected by the Taal Volcano eruption

Days after the Taal Volcanic eruption, the country’s leading home improvement and construction supply retailer, Wilcon Depot, provided relief assistance to the provinces of Batangas, Cavite, and Laguna who were all seriously affected by the calamity.

More than anything, the sense of responsibility and cooperation is needed especially during natural disasters. Amidst all the crises, Wilcon Depot recognizes the need to help and contribute to the community. Wilcon distributed the relief goods through the assistance of its local workforce in coordination with the Local Government Units (LGUs) and Non-Governmental Organizations (NGOs).

The company also engaged its employees to help by giving donations to the residents of the affected areas. From the collective effort of its employees, Wilcon has raised another generous amount of relief supplies to help sustain the needs of the people in different evacuation centers.

With its initiative to provide assistance, Wilcon will seek for more opportunities and take meaningful actions to offer help to the affected local communities.
