As part of the company’s continuous support to the affected communities of the Taal Volcano eruption, Wilcon Depot, the country’s leading home improvement and construction supply retailer, have collated an amount of 1 Million and in kind relief donations from its employees and officers to help the locals in the areas affected by the eruption through the ABS-CBN Foundation Inc. on January 31, 2020.
The turnover of the check was led by Wilcon President and CEO Lorraine Belo-Cincochan; Wilcon SEVP- Chief Operating Officer Rosemarie Bosch-Ong; VP for Human Resources Grace Tiong; and Wilcon Marketing Manager Dheza Paras along with ABS-CBN Foundation Managing Director Susan Afan; ABS-CBN Lifestyle Ecosystem Head Paolo Pineda; and ABS-CBN Metro Group Head Christina Lopez.
The heartfelt compassion and solidarity shown by employees and officers of Wilcon Depot are one of the many ways to help the residents rebuild their lives. Furthermore, the financial assistance will also suffice their basic needs such as food, water, and hygiene essentials.
