Wilcon Depot, the country’s leading home improvement and construction supply retailer, successfully held two groundbreaking ceremonies for their upcoming outlets in Olongapo City and La Union.
On June 12, 2020, the retail giant held the groundbreaking ceremony at National Road, Barangay Baretto, Olongapo City for Wilcon Depot Olongapo, which will serve as their first Wilcon store to open in Zambales province.
Wilcon held another groundbreaking ceremony at Barangay Paringao, Bauang, La Union on June 26, 2020. The soon-to-open Wilcon Depot La Union will be the company’s third Wilcon store in the Ilocos region after Wilcon Depot Laoag and Wilcon Depot Villasis. Present during the groundbreaking ceremony was the La Union Mayor Hon. Menchie De Guzman.
Wilcon continues to fulfill its vision of reaching all Filipino homeowners and builders across the country. The two consecutive groundbreaking ceremonies are part of Wilcon’s 5-year store expansion plan of having 100 operational stores nationwide, the #FlyingHighTo100. The soon-to-open stores will be added to Wilcon’s currently 60 stores nationwide.
