Home construction retail giant, Wilcon Depot, welcomed 2021 with the successful inauguration of their first store in the province of Aklan.
The new, spacious shop is the company’s 64th retail store nationwide. Best known for their wide array of home improvement and construction supplies, Wilcon Depot opened their doors to the Aklanons for the first time on January 15, 2021. Situated in Brgy. Calangcang, Makato, Aklan, the store is open daily for shoppers from 8:00 AM-7:00 PM.
The company sees Aklan as a viable home for their newest retail store, which is strategically located at Makato that is now considered as one of the most progressive and vibrant municipalities of the Ati-atihan province.
“The opening of Wilcon Depot Makato is an important step towards fulfilling our #FlyingHighto100 store expansion campaign, wherein we aim to have 100 stores nationwide by 2025, barring from any unexpected external factors. Wilcon Depot Makato will be the first of many stores to open this year,” said Wilcon Depot President and CEO Lorraine Belo-Cincochan.
