La Mesa Ecopark finally reopened on June 29, 2024, after being closed to the public for four months.
In coordination with the Quezon City Local Government (QC-LGU), Manila Water has been given the green light to take over the management of La Mesa Ecopark in June, when Philippine Environment Month and World Environment Day are celebrated.
La Mesa Ecopark, a lush green oasis within the bustling metropolis, is home to an impressive array of wildlife, including over 30 small animal species, 130 plant species, and 53 bird species. This diverse ecosystem provides a vital sanctuary for urban flora and fauna, offering visitors a unique opportunity to connect with nature and learn about ecological conservation.
