In 2024, Wilcon Depot partnered with the Philippine Institute of Interior Designers (PIID), aiming to raise design standards and inspire creativity in every space. Since then, both have remained aligned in their commitment to excellence, and actively supporting programs that reinforce the aesthetic and functional value of interior design in the Philippines.

This shared mission manifested once again at the 2025 Manila Interior Design Summit (MIDS), held from July 31 to August 3. With the theme DESIGN SHIFT: BEYOND BOUNDARIES, the summit marked PIID’s long-anticipated return. Designers, architects, students, and creative professionals gathered for three days of forward-thinking discussions, showroom tours, and industry-led keynotes on artificial intelligence, technology, and design innovation.

Wilcon Depot joined the event with a striking exhibit inspired by the timeless appeal of terracotta. The booth, designed around the brand’s in-house furniture line, Heim offered a curated mix of beautiful silhouettes, grounded materials, and clean-lined furniture softened by neutral textures. The space echoed the warm tones and quiet depth of nature, encouraging guests to reflect on the evolving relationship between material, form, and function.

Beyond the design showcase, Wilcon Depot continues to invest in the future of the industry.Last March 28, 2025, Wilcon Depot reaffirmed its support to construction professionals by reintroducing its loyalty program for professionals, ABCDE+, under the theme Together, We Grow Stronger, Bigger, Better. This milestone coincided with the grand opening of its store in P. Tuazon.
This program is designed for valued professionals who value both convenience and rewards. It gives architects, builders, contractors, designers, and engineers direct access to Wilcon’s wide selection of top-quality products, along with exclusive rates and privileges designed to support their projects.
Wilcon SEVP and COO Rosemarie Bosch Ong emphasized this vision: “Supporting organizations like PIID means investing in future leaders of the design industry, especially the young ones, giving them the right tools, spaces, and support to grow.”
As Wilcon Depot and PIID move forward with a shared purpose, both remain focused on developing meaningful spaces and shaping a design culture rooted in substance, intention, and bold thinking. The momentum continues, as they help define what’s next for interior design in the country.
