Breaking Limits With the Wilcon 10-Miler Run

More than just a race, the Wilcon 10-Miler Run brought together a vibrant community of runners united by a shared goal—to challenge themselves, promote a healthier lifestyle, and make a positive impact. Guided by the vision “Building Home. Breaking Limits.,” Wilcon’s inaugural running event celebrated endurance, camaraderie, and the power of giving back.

The highly anticipated Wilcon 10-Miler Run ran its course on June 21, 2026, with runners from all over the metro crossing the finish line at Parqal, Aseana City, Parañaque.

Empowered by the vision “Building Home. Breaking Limits,” the Wilcon 10-Miler Run is the first-ever running event from Wilcon that bridges the home and running realms. Organized with MNL City Run, it takes a step beyond building homes by advocating for health and encouraging Filipinos to participate in challenging activities. Moreover, the run’s pulse is the collective purpose of giving back, as the funds raised are shared among humanitarian and environmental initiatives.

Before the races began, participants gathered at the venue and geared up for their respective categories. Hosts Migs Gomez and Tintin Padilla welcomed the runners and guided them through the program, announcements, and race procedures. To further energize the crowd, coach Maurice Lue led a dynamic warm-up session that helped participants prepare both physically and mentally for the challenge ahead. Equipped with Wilcon’s exclusive race kits and gear, runners were ready to take on the flagship 16KM, 10KM, and 5KM race categories.

As the races commenced, the course came alive with the determination and perseverance of every participant. From first-time runners to seasoned athletes, each stride reflected the spirit of pushing boundaries and embracing new challenges.

Along the route, runners were supported by hydration stations and race marshals who helped ensure a safe and enjoyable experience from start to finish. With every kilometer bringing them closer to their goals, participants embodied the event’s commitment to health, wellness, and community engagement.

After crossing the finish line, runners joined a cool-down Zumba session led by Coach Jaymie Obinguar to help stabilize their bodies and heart rates. To cap off the celebration, participants gathered at the Wilcon-themed Race Village, where snacks, refreshments, and fun activities as well as loots, awaited as a reward for their achievement and perseverance.
